Brent Parnell, MD

Dr. Brent Parnell was a God sent. I do believe God sent me to the right doctor for my prolasped bladder. I had been dealing with this problem for 2+ years. I seen two OBGYN in Columbus, Mississippi for this condition. One told me if he fixed it he would make me a whole new bladder from part of my colon. The other put a pessary in and it fell out as soon as got home. I saw another urogynecologist and she told me the percentage of the surgery for my prolasped bladder would only be a 35-40% success rate and if I coughed or sneezed hard after surgery I would be back in to see her. I was referred to Dr. Brent Parnell by my local OBGYN Dr. Ted Cox. I saw Dr. Parnell one time and he was booked until well into the new year but God worked it all out. He had a cancelation and did my surgery November 18, 2025. I even got to drive and go to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee on December 4-7th on a vacation with my family. The stipulations was to not lift anything over 5 pounds and nothing inserted in my vagina for 6 weeks. I have never felt better. I went for my follow-up with Dr.Parnell on December 29th and all went well. He said I could resume anything I wanted to do. This doctor prayed for me before he took me back for surgery and this meant a lot to me and my family. The surgery he did on me was suppose to be a 95% success rate. I praise God for Dr. Parnell and all his staff. They are all so nice and caring. He is gentle too and answers any questions you may have. I would recommend Dr. Parnell to anyone that has urogynecology problems. He is the best!!! Dr. Parnell, thank you for caring, understanding, and being a wonderful urogynecologist. Dr. Parnell is fabulous doctor and the best specialist in pelvic prolapse surgery. I am amazed at his knowledge and expertise in robotic surgery to repair prolapse conditions. I'm so thankful for my wonderfully successful results and I highly recommend Dr. Parnell.

Dr. Parnell is an amazing doctor. I had a baby in Pensacola, Florida on 3/29/2024. I was told by my OB that I had “barely a second degree tear” I had issues postpartum and I was not listened to by her. Thankfully, I found Dr Parnell and he listened to my concerns. Turns out, I at least had a third degree tear and my muscle was still separated, I also had a rectocele. I had surgery this past May with him and I’m doing so much better now. He prayed with me before surgery and I had a great experience with him and his team. I will recommend him to anyone I know that needs pelvic floor surgery. He is God sent. If you are having female issues, don’t hesitate to call his office and let them help you! My experience was 10/10.
